A MIGRANT who dragged a teenage girl in front of a train assaulted cops at a brothel two days before the fatal attack.
Ariop A., 25, grabbed 18-year-old Iranian Fatemeh “Asal” Z. and threw her in front of an oncoming train at Wandsbek Markt subway station in Hamburg, killing them both instantly.
The South Sudanese man was known to police, and had been detained for aggravated assault and resisting arrest at the city’s largest brothel just 41 hours earlier, according to Bild.
After visiting the “Paradise Point of Sex” – which houses 100 sex workers – Ariop A. refused to leave at its 5am closing time.
The migrant struck an employee’s hand and violently lashed out at police when they responded to the incident.
One officer sustained a bruise to the head after being hit with a mobile phone.
Witnesses said that Ariop appeared to be under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
He was rushed to hospital in a “state of emergency” but was bizarrely cut loose without being taken into custody.
Ariop swiftly returned to his refugee accommodation.
Only two days later, the violent thug descended on the Hamburg metro station, reportedly under the influence of alcohol.
Fatemeh was waiting on a platform when the stranger suddenly threw both her and himself onto the tracks, local cops said.
The pair were struck by a train going through the station at around 10.07pm last Thursday, and both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses revealed that the attacker was walking across the platform erratically before the deadly assault.
One bystander told Bild the migrant had stumbled towards the victim before telling her: “I’ll take you with me.”
He is said to have then pulled her onto the tracks without warning just seconds later.
There is no indication that the Sudanese man and the Iranian teenager were known to each other, investigators say.
Local police said: “According to current information, law enforcement authorities have no evidence of any prior relationship between the individuals involved.”
Heartbreaking tributes poured in for the tragic teen victim.
Her mum posted on Instagram alongside a picture of Fatemah holding flowers: “My daughter is an angel.”
She also said in another emotional post: “Oh pretty girl.”
While another showed a tragic compilation of videos, with the caption: “Last night I wanted to hug you.”
One tribute announced a vigil, saying: “Tomorrow, Sunday, we will meet at 2:30 pm in front of the main entrance of the Wandsbek Markt subway station, light candles and remember our dear Asal.”
Fatemeh was reportedly living in a women’s shelter in Norderstedt, according to the European Conservative.
She had reportedly fled domestic violence.
Following the attack, the German Red Cross crisis intervention team was sent to the scene to provide psychological support to witnesses.
The two bodies were removed from the station in wooden coffins, with police working at the station throughout the night.
