WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Around 10 Metro buses were backed up in Northwest D.C. on Tuesday evening due to the snow.
The backup happened on 14th Street NW between Madison and Nicholson streets.
One driver told DC News Now that the first bus’s driver, who is relatively new, was uncomfortable going down the hill due to snowy conditions.
The drivers were waiting for a Metro supervisor to come.

As of 7:30 p.m., the buses had been there for around one hour.
The Metropolitan Police Department said that snow plows and salt trucks were being deployed to that area.
