A man allegedly in possession of methamphetamine was arrested after being found inside a red-tagged home in the Bloomington community of San Bernardino County Tuesday.
A deputy noticed the lights on at the red-tagged home in the 18100 block of 10th Street and conducted a security check when he located the man inside, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department described in a release.
“The residence was posted indicating no one had permission to be inside,” authorities said.
The deputy then made contact with 62-year-old Angel Garcia and detained him for trespassing. Inside Garcia’s belongings, the deputy found “drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine,” the Sheriff’s Department stated.
Garcia was also discovered to have multiple previous convictions for narcotic-related offenses.
He was booked on suspicion of “Possession of a Hard Drug Treatment Mandated Felony Arrest for Drug Possession With Priors,” the Sheriff’s Department stated.
