A sideline official collapsed, received CPR and was later taken off the field on a stretcher on the Baltimore Ravens sideline in the second quarter of Sunday’s game with the Las Vegas Raiders. The official, who was working the first-down chain marker, was seen waving his hand and moving his mouth as he was stretchered off.
A member of the chain gang crew collapsed. He was immediately attended to by medical personnel. Upon leaving the field, he was alert and responsive. He’s being taken to a local hospital.

On the field, Ravens and Raiders players quickly took a knee as the Baltimore medical staff attended to the official and administered CPR.
The incident occurred at the 2:36 mark of the second quarter while a play was under replay challenge. According to a member of the Ravens public relations, the chain gang member was alert and responsive as he was taken to a local hospital.
The game was delayed for about 10 minutes due to the incident, then resumed.
Another chain gang member was carted off the field during the Houston Texans and Chicago Bears matchup on “Sunday Night Football.” The sideline official was carted off the field but was sitting up and moving, giving a thumbs-up to the crowd as he exited.
