Friends fans can now own a piece of the late Matthew Perry‘s iconic wardrobe as Chandler Bing, but only if the price is right.
In honor of the sitcom’s milestone 30th anniversary, Warner Bros. Television and Julien’s Auctions are auctioning off several pieces of memorabilia — including some show-worn articles of clothing — on Sept. 23 at a live auction, and now online.
The auction, titled “The One with the 30-Year Anniversary Auction,” includes a head sculpture that sat in character Ross Geller’s (David Schwimmer) apartment, an ottoman from his living room, a dress shirt worn by character Paul Stevens (Bruce Willis), a sweater worn by Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston) and another sweater worn by Perry’s character of Chandler.
Simply listed on Julien’s Auction’s website as the “Chandler Bing” Sweater, the piece was worn by Perry in the seventh season episode “The One with the Holiday Armadillo.”
Per the listing, Perry wore the top “in a scene at Central Perk where Monica informs him she won’t be changing her last name to Bing,” as well as later in the episode “when Phoebe brings her late mother’s Christmas candy dish to the gang’s holiday party.”
The large polo-style sweater, which features the label of “Autumn Cashmere,” is a blue-grey color and is being auctioned off alongside a costume tag featuring the words “Matthew Perry as Chandler Bing” and a certificate of authenticity issued by the Warner Bros. Discovery Global Archives & Preservation Services.
With a starting bid of $250, the sweater was expected to sell for between $1,000 and $1,500. As of Sunday, Sept. 1 — weeks before the live auction itself — the current bid already sits at $1,500.
The auction comes less than a year after the Friends star died at age 54 in October 2023, after an accidental drug overdose.
It also arrives as the iconic sitcom is set to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its pilot episode, which premiered on Sept. 22, 1994.
Another item fetching big bids already is the sweater worn by Aniston, 55, during the seventh season episode “The One with the Truth About London.” The gray mohair turtleneck was also expected to fetch between $1,000 and $1,500 but has surpassed expectations and sits at a $4,000 bid as of Sept. 1.

A blue denim coat worn by Lisa Kudrow as character Phoebe Buffay has already earned a $2,250 bid, while a full-size, studio made reproduction of the Central Perk couch has reached a bid of $6,000.
“This item, modeled from the original by Warner Bros., features orange velvet cushions and back pillows with carved brown resin paneling lacquered to look wooden and copper-color tassels adorning the front skirt,” a description reads.
According to the auction house, the auction itself “serves as a tribute to the show’s enduring legacy, providing fans with a unique opportunity to own a tangible piece of television history,” and is also a “testament to the show’s ability to forge connections and evoke cherished memories, solidifying its place as a cultural touchstone.”
