WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police in D.C. have released more details about a deadly shooting that broke out in Southeast on Tuesday afternoon.
On Feb. 11 around 2:45 p.m., officers with the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) were called to a shooting at an apartment building in the 2000 block of 19th Place.
Once on the scene, officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. They were both taken to the hospital where one of the men died.
Police identified the victim as 25-year-old Aaron Thomas Jr., of Owings Mills, Md.
As of Wednesday morning, police have not made any arrests.

The police department said it is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
