HYATTSVILLE, Md. (DC News Now) — The Hyattsville Police Department (HPD) was at the scene of a double shooting that happened Tuesday night.
In a post made on X shortly after 11:30 p.m., HPD said units were in the 2500 block of Kirkwood Place. Five people reportedly tried to rob a man and a woman as they returned from dinner.
They were both shot.
HPD said they were taken to the hospital, but there was no word on their conditions.
