ALEXANDRIA, Va. (DC News Now) — Police in Alexandria are investigating after a man was shot Sunday night.
Details remain limited, however; in a post on X at 9:16 p.m., the Alexandria Police Department (APD) said officers were in the 300 block of Wythe St. after a man was shot there.
Police noted that responders took the man, who was seriously injured, to the hospital.
Officers also took “a person of interest” into custody.
