A MAN has died after being crushed by a wall while he was ‘at work’ as cops launch a probe into the death.
Paramedics were called to Parrys Lane, in Stoke Bishop, Bristol, at around 12.50pm today.
Eyewitnesses reported a wall falling down on Parrys Lane and fatally injuring a man.
Avon and Somerset Police are now working with the Health and Safety Executive amid their investigation.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers are investigating the death of a man in Parrys Lane, in Stoke Bishop, Bristol, after receiving a call from the ambulance service at around 12.50pm today, Wednesday 4 September.
“His next of kin are aware and our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time.
“The man sadly died while at work and we are therefore liaising with the Health and Safety Executive and together, are carrying out enquiries into the incident.”
