POLICE have launched a murder investigation after a man in his 40s was “stabbed to death” at a house.
Officers were called to a home in Chatham, Kent, on Saturday morning following reports of an assault.

Kent Police said that officers found a man in his 40s with injuries “consistent with stab wounds” at a property in Castle Road.
The man died while being treated by paramedics at the scene, the force said.
A 45-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody, it added.
“Detectives have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man in Chatham,” the force said in a statement.
“Kent Police was called at 10.12am on Saturday November 1 2025, following reports of an assault in a private property in Castle Road.
“Investigators are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police to contact them.
“Residents with private CCTV and motorists with dashcam are also asked to check for relevant footage.”
