MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A man was hospitalized after driving into a ditch on Friday night, Montgomery County officials said.
Pete Piringer, a spokesman with Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) said the collision happened at around 8:30 p.m. in the area of Gateway Center Drive and Stringtown Road in Clarksburg.



A man had driven down an embankment 50-100 feet.
The person was able to get out of the ditch and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Some lanes were blocked as MCFRS crews worked to clear the scene.
