Police are searching for a suspect after a man was found shot to death in Long Beach Saturday.
Long Beach police responded to a shooting on the 1900 block of 45th Street at around 12:24 a.m.
Officers found the victim, Travis Lee Robinson Sr., 56, of Long Beach, suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by Long Beach fire personnel. The suspect had fled the area before police arrived.
No further details were released as the events leading up to the fatal shooting remain under investigation.
