Authorities are investigating after a man was found dead near a creek in Rancho Cucamonga.
On Jan. 27, Rancho Cucamonga police responded to reports of a body found north of Almond Street and Turquoise Avenue at around 10:30 a.m.
A hiker said he was walking his dogs near a creek when he spotted the man’s body.
The coroner’s office responded to the scene. The man’s identity was not released as the incident remains under investigation.
Authorities are searching for the man’s next of kin. Although his cause of death has not been determined, police said there were no signs of foul play.
