Detectives are asking for help in a North Hollywood homicide investigation after a man was found dead in his car with multiple gunshot wounds.
LAPD reports patrol officers responded to a radio call of an “Ambulance Shooting man down,” in the 11900 block of Chandler Boulevard around 2:20 p.m. Saturday.
First responders found a man believed to be between the ages of 40 and 45 in the driver seat of his car and pronounced him dead at the scene.
The victim’s full identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, LAPD said.
Detectives canvassed the area for witnesses and further evidence, but there is still no information on any suspect(s), nor the motive.
LAPD Valley Bureau Homicide detectives said they are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved.
