WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police are investigating after a man was stabbed multiple times in Southeast on Monday afternoon.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) told DC News Now that just before 4:30 p.m., officers responded to a call at 6th and Chesapeake Street SE. This is not far from Hendley Elementary School.
At the scene, they found a man who had been stabbed multiple times. Police said he was seriously injured but that he was “conscious and breathing.”
Responders flew him to the hospital for treatment.
As of Monday night, there is no word on his condition.
