A shooting in North Hollywood left one man dead and another on the run from authorities Tuesday afternoon.
The shooting near the intersection of Tujunga Avenue and Magnolia Boulevard was reported at about 1:40 p.m., according to Officer Cervantes with the Los Angeles Police Department.
Footage shared to the Citizen app shows that the shooting appeared to have occurred in or near to North Hollywood Park.
The victim, a man in his 50s, was declared dead at the scene.
Cervantes said the shooter was described as a man between 30 and 40 years old. That man left the scene after the shooting and remains on the loose.
Just after 2:30 p.m., police could be seen surrounding what appears to be an apartment complex just a few blocks away from North Hollywood Park, though their purpose at that location has not been disclosed.
