A MAJOR A-road carrying traffic to Dover has been closed after a HGV crashed and left the carriageway.
The A20 in Kent is closed westbound between the A256 at Dover and the B2011 at Capel-le-Ferne.

Kent Police was scrambled to the scene to assist in the recovery of the HGV that left the carriageway following a crash.
It’s expected the major road will be closed for most of the morning as teams battle to clear the scene.
Drivers have been urged to plan additional travel time or seek alternative routes with long delays expected.
A diversion is now in place for those bound for London who are advised to follow the hollow square symbol signs.
A spokesperson for National Highways said: “The closure is required to ensure the safety of officers and specialist recovery crews working at the scene, and recovery operations are expected to take most of the morning.
“If this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time. Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey.”
The Sun has reached out to Kent Police for comment.
