Madonna got fans excited as she revealed she’s working on a new album in an Instagram post she shared with her 20 million followers.
But, what got her fans even more amped up was Madge, 66, revealed that the upcoming album will be a sequel to her hit 2005 album Confessions On A Dance Floor.
‘My Valentine’s Day gift to all my fans is to let you know I’m putting my heart and soul into my new music and I can’t wait to share it with you!’ she wrote.
‘Confessions Part 2. Just nobody tell Usher!,’ she concluded the post that included photos from a studio session set to her song Future Lovers.
In some photos she sits behind a drum kit, in others she sings into a microphone and in still others she vamps for the camera in the way only Madonna can.
Included in the photo montage is a photo of producer Stuart Price, whom she’s been in the studio with since December.

‘Working on new music with Stuart Price. these past few months has been medicine for my SOUL.
‘Songwriting and making music is the one area where I don’t need to ask anyone for their permission,’ she posted at the time.
‘I’m so excited to share it with you. Who wants to hear new music in 2025,’ her caption continued.
The Queen of Pop and Price worked on Madonna’s 2005 album together, which included her hits Hung Up and Get Together.
Price also acted as the musical director for her Celebration tour in 2023-24.
The new album will be her first since 2019’s Madame X.
No release date, or even estimate of when the new music would drop was revealed by the seven time Grammy winner.
Earlier this week, Madonna commented on Vogue’s Instagram post revealing Sabrina Carpenter, 25, on the cover of its March issue.

The photoshoot was shot by frequent Madonna collaborator Steven Meisel and styled to look like the Material Girl’s 1991 Vanity Fair shoot.

Also this week, Madonna donned a sultry outfit to celebrate Saint Valentine at New York Fashion Week.
The Holiday hitmaker showed off her toned frame in thigh-high stockings as she partied at a gin event in New York City.
The pop icon looked sensational in a busty black top with a sheer panel as she posed suggestively with a bottle of gin between her legs at the city’s Clemente Bar at Eleven Madison Park.
The glitzy soiree was hosted by acclaimed photographer Mert Alas in partnership with Seventy One Gin.
Madonna is currently dating 28-year-old Akeem Morris.

Akeem, a former college soccer player, first met Madonna in August 2022, though their romance was not confirmed until nearly two years later.
Madonna made their relationship public on Instagram this past July when she posted photos of them cuddling up to one another on social media.
They reportedly went their separate ways in October 2024, but are said to have reconciled just weeks after they broke up.
