DRIVERS are stuck in four-mile long queues on the M25 after a crash.
The smash at Essex happened this morning and motorists have been warned of 40 minute delays.
The incident is reported to have occurred just before J27 for the M11.
Details of the crash are yet to be established.
In a post on X, National Highways said: “The link road from the M25 J27 clockwise to the M11 southbound (J6) is blocked due to a collision.
“We’re moving vehicles onto the hard shoulder.
“There’s a 40 minute delay and four miles of congestion on the M25 clockwise on approach.”
Traffic monitoring site Inrix says: “M25 clockwise exit slip road closed, queueing traffic due to accident before J27 M11.
“Congestion to J26 (Waltham Abbey), and onlookers opposite adding to delays back past J29 (Romford).”
