The lucky holder of the winning EuroMillions ticket worth a staggering £83million has finally come forward to claim their life-changing prize after a lengthy search.
Becoming the nation’s first EuroMillions winner of 2025, the unnamed ticket-holder joins a list of 10 previous British winners.
The mystery winner matched all five main numbers (2, 11, 19, 30 and 49) in addition to the Lucky Star numbers (3 and 8).
Allwyn, the lottery operator, has said the lucky ticket-holder was in possession of their ticket for 13 days before registering their claim.
The eye-watering scoop places the unnamed winner at number 23 on The National Lottery‘s ‘most spectacular’ wins of all time.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at Allwyn, said: ‘This is absolutely incredible news, and we are delighted that this jaw-dropping EuroMillions jackpot prize has now been claimed.
‘Everyone dreams of that huge win when they buy their EuroMillions ticket – and for this lucky ticket-holder this dream has become a reality. Imagine all the possibilities that are now within their grasp.
‘We will now focus on supporting this ticket-holder through the process so they can start enjoying their win as soon as possible’.

The winning ticket will be now be validated by Allwyn, with its holder to decide whether or not to go public with their news once they have received payment.
The lottery operator have added that they will not be providing information as to whether or not the prize was claimed by a sole winner or a syndicate or where the ticket was purchased, unless the winner decides to go public.
With the draw having taken place almost a fortnight ago, there had been concern that perhaps the prize may go unclaimed.
Winners have a six month deadline to come forward and present their winning ticket, but no one had done so until today for this huge sum despite widespread media attention.
The previous biggest unclaimed prize was £68.3 million won in Hertfordshire in 2012.
UK ticket-holders have enjoyed an incredulous run of good luck in the EuroMillions lottery over recent times.
Just last November, another UK-based winner scooped what was the nation’s third largest lotto win of all time at £177million.
Similarly, last July saw another Brit pocket a massive £123million.
On both occasions the winners chose to stay anonymous.
The biggest UK lottery win of all time came in July of 2022 when an anonymous ticket-holder claimed a £195million EuroMillions prize.
