Faye Winter has revealed she is back on the dating scene after her breakup with Teddy Soares last year.
The former Love Island star, 28, has spent recent months focusing on herself and now feels confident enough to enjoy dating again.
Speaking to The Mirror, Faye shared: ‘Last year, I committed to not interacting with the opposite sex at all. Now, I’m dating again and actually enjoying it.
‘It’s a new experience for me to walk into a restaurant and meet someone for a drink. I value having my own space but also want to get to know someone new.’
The blonde bombshell, who rose to fame on the reality dating show in 2021, went on to say that she had to take some time out last year to focus on herself which meant no talking, or looking at men.

One of her biggest learnings was to spend time on her own and appreciate having her own space.
When asked about returning to Love Island, Faye expressed doubts but did it admit it helped her ‘grown and become more vulnerable’ which is a great strength.
‘I’m grateful for the experience, but I don’t know if I’d want to date on such a public platform again,’ she said. ‘Never say never, but maybe not!’
Faye’s new found confidence comes after her bitter split from ex-boyfriend and former Love Islander, Teddy Soares.
In an exclusive interview with MailOnline earlier this year, Faye admitted she had to ‘block out a lot of noise to get through the darkness’ – and also credited her dogs for ‘giving her a reason to get out of bed on her lowest days’.
Faye, who is a passionate campaign star for Guide Dogs UK, revealed her life completely flipped upside down after announcing her ‘heartbreaking and difficult’ separation in February 2023 with Teddy, after a year-and-a-half of dating.
She said: ‘Last year I had the option to do other bits [reality TV], but I I said it wasn’t the right time for me. I always think timing is so It is so important.
‘I needed to concentrate last year on myself. My well-being, my health and so I prioritised that, and it was the best decision I’ve ever made.

She added: ‘ I lost a lot of weight. I was in a really bad, awful place. We’ve all been there, but for me, I really had to block out the noise or I could have gone a different way’
‘I’ll never look back and regret putting myself first, that’s something that I’m very proud of do. I could have gained more followers, but it just doesn’t bother me to do that or to be that side of things.’
She added: ‘I lost a lot of weight. I was in a really bad, awful place. We’ve all been there, but for me, I really had to block out the noise or I could have gone a different way.
‘I didn’t wanna post [on social media]. I didn’t really want people to know what was going on in my life. I really had to focus on me and by what makes me happy.
‘I needed to take a few steps back to then take multiple steps forward. You cannot see the light sometimes through the darkness, and it feels like it’s never gonna end. Time is a massive healer.’
She continued: ‘I have definitely found my happiness. I have definitely become a lot more independent cos there was a point that I wouldn’t even, like, leave my house by myself.
‘My dog is my reason and she has given me a reason on my lowest days. She is the love of my life at the moment. I’ve loved her when I’ve not wanted to love myself. And ultimately, that’s allowed me to then love myself and get out.’
In March, furious fans suspected Teddy ‘messaged another woman’ behind Faye’s back after he made a shock admission.

Earlier this year furious fans suspected Teddy ‘messaged another woman’ behind Faye’s back after he recently made a shock admission on his podcast
He recalled: ‘I remember, once upon a time, I messaged someone whilst I was in a relationship. And to me, this person was just an acquaintance… the partner I was with was really unhappy’
Following the split, Faye confessed they were both in ‘different places’ and wanted opposing things, which put a strain on their relationship (pictured in Love Island in 2021)
Speaking during his podcast, Teddy Talks, the TV personality raised eyebrows when discussing a ‘former relationship’ – although he didn’t specify who he was with.
In a discussion about boundaries, Teddy and his brother Sidney discussed how couples should make each other aware of their limits and rules in a relationship.
He recalled: ‘I remember, once upon a time, I messaged someone whilst I was in a relationship. And to me, this person was just an acquaintance.’
Teddy continued: ‘This person was just someone that I know of. We know of each other.
‘I messaged them asking about their Halloween plans. I think I might have asked this person, “Are you going to dress up as a devil or an angel? Like, what are you thinking?”
‘And I remember, the partner I was with at the time was really unhappy about this.’
Sidney questioned: ‘And why do you think your partner at the time would have been unhappy?
‘Can I jump in? I’m not your partner I can’t even imagine what being your partner would be like… but if I was on the other side of that…
‘This is what she might be thinking. ‘So, you’re thinking about what she’s wearing right now. And it could be a devil’s outfit.’
Teddy responded: ‘It was completely innocent. It was literally to find out a plan for Halloween. I don’t typically celebrate because it’s out of my comfort zone.
‘When I asked it was innocent, because let’s be real… dressing up on Halloween, you’re doing it to look a bit sexy or stand out. I’m not asking to be provocative. I was asking as in, “I’m going to steal your idea.”‘
Sidney added: ‘Whether I agree with that question or not, that doesn’t matter. You mentioned communication was key and in that moment you knew where the boundaries were in that relationship.’
‘Yeah, I have learnt from that,’ Teddy concluded.
Following his split from Faye, Teddy went on to date model Casey Boonstra, first revealing he was ‘really into her’ in October 2023.
However, just months later in January he announced he was single after calling it quits on their romance.
In May, Faye exclusively revealed to MailOnline Faye the real reason behind her shock split with Teddy.
Faye confessed they were both in ‘different places’ and wanted opposing things, which put a strain on their relationship.
She said: ‘It’s been very obvious, especially over the last few months, we just wanted different things. We were just in different places.
‘And you know, relationships… they’re hard, you know, they’re hard things to maintain. People go through breakups every single day. People go through heartbreak every single day.
‘It’s just part of life and it’s a really difficult situation to go through. I’m not ready. I don’t know if I will ever be ready to disclose what fully happened between us because that is between me and Teddy.’
