Love Island: All Stars was hit with over 2000 Ofcom complaints in its final week after a series of clashes between the cast.
The drama reached boiling point when Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Curtis Pritchard sparked yet another arguement with Elma Pazar and Sammy Root.
A steamy heart rate challenge caused a rift before another row exploded following the snog, marry, pie challenge.
The incidents had Elma’s friends claiming the ‘hate has gone too far’ after viewers called out her actions on social media.
On February 12, there were 1,347 complaints made to the regulator, followed by 820 on February 11, 63 on February 13 and 57 on February 16, The Mirror reports.
Ekin-Su was reportedly ‘issued a warning by ITV bosses’ after she started one of the explosive arguments.

The show has been hit by Ofcom complaints in the past over ‘toxic’ behaviour from the contestants, so this is not a first.
MailOnline has contacted Ofcom and Love Island representatives for comment.
On February 12 Ekin-Su and Curtis decided they needed to air how they truly felt to Elma and Sammy, which sparked another clash between the couples.
Whilst the other Islanders watched on, Ekin-Su told them: ‘That answer, it could have gone the other way around…I felt like ever since the heart rate challenge there’s been a weird grudge between you two and us and you haven’t let it go…’
Sammy replied: ‘This doesn’t have to get out of hand… it could have gone wrong for you and it didn’t, I’m happy about that.’
Ekin-Su later added: ‘I’m sick of it and I’m just frustrated, I’ve been quiet for days..I’m telling you exactly how I feel, you’ve had something against me since the heart rate challenge, let it go.’
Elma responded: ‘Did we not sort it out the other day? You’re getting on my nerves.’
Ekin added: ‘It’s a game let it go.’
Sammy said: ‘Exactly it’s a game… let it go.’

As the disagreement got more heated Elma walked away to chat to the girls in the dressing room.
On February 16 things got heated once again during the All Stars dinner party after Elma and Sammy asked the public whether Ekin and Curtis were the ‘weakest’ couple.
During the explosive row, Elma told Curtis to ‘f*** off and go make a f***ing coffee’ and was seen smirking as Ekin-Su shared how upset she was.
Despite a lot of ITV viewers taking to social media to call out Elma’s actions, her pal Francesca Allen, who appeared on Love Island in 2015, spoke out to defend her.
Francesca, who is currently engaged to businessman Ed Crossan, shared a picture of Elma and Sammy on her Instagram story and penned: ‘A reminder that this is a glimpse into a 24 hour day and this is a TV show.
‘Please everyone be a little kinder to our girl @elmapazar. She’s the kindest, loyalist person I know, the labels being given is not who she is.
‘The people closest to her will know and understand this.’

Francesca begged viewers to ‘please be a little kinder online’ and insisted ‘the level of hate has gone too far’.
Previously, the friends and family running Elma’s social media account also spoke out as they found the hateful comments ‘tough’.
They wrote: ‘The villa is a bubble, emotions run high and every moment is a chance to learn and grow. No one sees the full picture of a 24 hour day.
‘Some of the comments and DMs Elma has been getting, especially about her appearance, are completely uncalled for.
‘Let’s not forget this is a TV show created for entertainment and there’s a real person behind the screen.’
