A store in the San Fernando Valley that sells non-lethal weapons was broken into for the second time in seven days.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to KTLA that officers responded to NakeStores, located at 7622 Van Nuys Boulevard in Van Nuys, just after 12:20 a.m. Monday following a security alarm being triggered by a broken glass sensor.
The location is a Byrna Premier Dealer; Byrna is a manufacturer of non-lethal self-defense weaponry often used by law enforcement agencies.
By the time officers got to the scene, the suspects had fled, an LAPD spokesperson said.
The spokesperson was unable to provide any description of the suspects or a possible getaway vehicle.
Video obtained by KTLA shows officers entering the store through the broken front door before clearing the scene and beginning to speak with employees.
It is not known what, if anything, was stolen.
Monday’s burglary comes less than a week after the same location was hit by thieves on Aug. 20. There was no immediate word on whether the same group was connected both burglaries.
