Diddy could be heard speaking to Kanye West in a leaked conversation between them following the release of their controversial song.
In audio of a recorded phone call between the pair, obtained by The Shade Room on Monday, the disgraced rapper, 55, who is currently behind bars in Brooklyn awaiting trial since his September 2024 arrest on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, urged his pal, 47, to ‘get behind the mic’ and ‘get back to smiling.’
‘When I get out there, man, I want to see you f****g tear down the stadiums. I need to see you back on that stage, f*****g actually rapping and f*****g performing and everything. I be dreaming of that s**t,’ Diddy, who has denied all of the accusations against him, told West.
At the start of the recorded portion of the call, Diddy was heard telling Kanye: ‘Tell you real from the front line. This sh**t is wicked, wicked, wicked, so you be careful.’
‘You can’t do nothing for just… I need you out there, you hear me?’ he asked.
‘I hear you, yes, sir,’ Kanye answered.

‘And have some f*****g fun. Get behind the mic, have some fun. Chop up them samples, get back on your hit man vibe. Have some fun, get back to smiling,’ he advised, as Kanye cracked a smile.
‘F**k these other motherf*****s. They are wasting your time. Wasting your motherf*****g time.’
He added, ‘So, put that love in your heart, man, and enjoy yourself.’
Kanye replied: ‘Yeah, it’s time for me just to grab the mic and get back on. I love, I love music again.’
He went on to say, ‘It was a time where everything was so frustrating. I can’t explain it.’
Diddy responded: ‘Jump into your bag. We gonna have years and decades to fight these motherf*****s. Right now, enjoy your life.’
‘This is coming from me, from God to you. Enjoy your life. Fall back in love like when you was making the beats in the Chi… just chop them s**t up, bring that SD1200 out.’
‘Have a good time and say “f**k the world and all the bulls**t”, man.’

Diddy added: ‘I love you man, I appreciate you. And thanks again. I’m gonna see you soon, man.’
Kanye replied: ‘Yes, sir. That’s how it’s gonna be. You gonna definitely beat this s**t. And that’s it.’
Diddy then touched on his upcoming trial, telling Kanye he will be ‘touching in to tap into your energy or something. Play me some s**t over the phone. Give me some f*****g life.’
He spoke of his legal woes, telling Kanye: ‘This s**t is f*****g sad. I’m Puff Daddy in jail. This s**t is f*****g sad as a motherf****r.’
‘The devil is a liar,’ Diddy added.
He then told Kanye to ‘keep doing everything you’re doing,’ adding ‘you got that f*****g freedom.’
‘When I get out and I get that f*****g freedom, woo. I am not caring about nothing but motherf*****g being happy. And I want you to feel that.’
Diddy then thanked Kanye for taking care of his kids and taking them under his wing, claiming that nobody has reached out to them or called them since his arrest.
Diddy adopted 33-year-old son Quincy Taylor Brown (whose biological father is Al B. Sure) during his on/off 13-year relationship with Kim Porter who passed away, at age 47, from pneumonia in 2018.
The Harlem-born hip-hop star fathered son ‘King’ Christian Combs, 26; and twin daughters Jessie and D’Lila Combs, 17; with Porter.
Diddy fathered three more children – son Justin Combs, 30; daughter Chance Combs, 18; daughter Love Sean Combs, 2 – with Misa Hylton, Sarah Chapman, and Dana Tran.
Diddy later warned Kanye to ‘be careful’ adding ‘they definitely trying to end us.’
‘I’m gonna beat this s**t and get next to you,’ he added.
He then appeared to speak of his time in jail, saying, ‘It’s like being left for dead. And only one person coming to do anything to get you. That’s the level of appreciation that I have for you.’
Kanye then shared he ‘looks up to’ the relationship Diddy has with his kids.

Meanwhile on Monday new light was shed on West and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s legal drama after the rapper included their daughter North, 11, in a song with Diddy – much to the KUTWK star’s objections.
In screenshots of a supposed conversation between Kanye and Kim, the reality star appeared to reveal that she held the copyright to their daughter’s name and was using it to try to prevent North from being included in a track with Diddy – provoking a furious reaction from her ex.
The United States Patent and Trademark Office reveals that several of North’s trademarks have expired, with the 11-year appearing to have just one active trademark, which covers toys.
The expired trademarks are currently marked as ‘dead’ and ‘abandoned’, and all of them – including the active trademark – have ‘Kimsaprincess Inc.’ listed as the owner.
Kim was reportedly left furious over the weekend after Kanye released a song by Diddy which features North’s voice, with the rapper also sharing – then deleting – threatening texts with the reality star where he threatened to ‘go to war’ with her.
After the song was uploaded, a source has shared that Kim has sought legal action to prevent its release and have it taken down from X.
The song opens with what sounds like Diddy’s voice thanking Kanye for his support, mentioning that no one else has reached out to him while he remains in jail awaiting trial on charges including sex trafficking.

Kanye responds by calling Diddy a father figure, even before they knew each other personally. North makes a brief but noticeable appearance, rapping, ‘When you see me shining, then you see the light,’ while Christian Combs delivers his own verse.
A source exclusively informed DailyMail.com that Kardashian took legal action to prevent the track’s release and is now ‘working to get the song down off of X.’
Shortly before the track was released, West posted – then deleted – screen-grabs allegedly showing a vicious text exchange between him and Kardashian in which he threatened to go ‘to war’ with her.
The supposed conversation makes it appear that Kim holds the copyright to North’s name and was using it to try to prevent the 11-year-old from being included in a track with Diddy – provoking a furious reaction from West.
In the grabs, West texts Kardashian: ‘I’m never speaking with you again,’ along with a snippet of what appeared to be a legal document, including the phrase: ‘participation in this project,’ presumably in reference to the new song.
Kardashian allegedly shoots back: ‘I asked u at the time if I can trademark her name,’ alleging: ‘You said yes,’ and adding: ‘When she’s 18 it goes to her.’
The grabs then show her evidently admonishing West to ‘stop,’ saying: ‘I sent paper work over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song To protect her’.
Kardashian, who is an aspiring lawyer, allegedly continues: ‘One person has to trademark! We agreed when they were born i would get all of our kids names and trademarks So no would else would take them.’
West is seen to be unmoved, purportedly retorting: ‘Amend it or I’m going to war And neither of us will recover from the public fallout,’ then darkly declaring: ‘You’re going to have to kill me.’

West and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian are currently feuding after the rapper included their daughter North, 11, in a song with Diddy

In the wake of the song’s release, a source exclusively informed DailyMail.com that Kardashian ‘will do whatever it takes to protect her kids from the hateful speech that Kanye continues to spur at this time.’
The insider added that Kardashian ‘has requested through a judge to not allow the kids to be around that type of behavior.’
According to insiders, North recently spent time in the studio with Kanye—their first visit in weeks—where she recorded vocals for the track, via TMZ.
Kanye allegedly told her that participating in the song would lead to the release of his upcoming Sunday Service.
After learning about the track, sources claim Kardashian sent cease-and-desist letters demanding that Kanye not move forward with its release.
Kardashian is said to be particularly concerned about North’s involvement due to the ongoing legal troubles surrounding Diddy, who is currently facing federal sex trafficking allegations.
