A LIMPING and handcuffed Nicolas Maduro has been seen on his way to a New York court after his capture by US forces.
The Venezuelan tyrant, 63, was escorted from the detention facility to a car by security officers.
The car took the former Venezuelan president to a helicopter, which is expected to deliver him to court now.
Aerial footage of the transfer shows Maduro’s wife, Cilia Flores, 69, also handcuffed, being escorted between the vehicles.
The pair are due to make an initial appearance at the Daniel Patrick Manhattan United States Courthouse to face US federal charges.
According to US attorney general Pam Bondi, Maduro faces charges of narco-terrorism conspiracy and cocaine importation conspiracy.
He also stands accused of possession of machine guns and destructive devices.
