Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen took a savage swipe at rival Stacey Solomon‘s makeover show Sort Your Life Out.
The interior designer, 59, whose Channel 4 series Outrageous Homes is returning for a second series, blasted Stacey’s BBC show in a recent interview with Closer.
Laurence rose to fame as the flamboyant star of BBC’s makeover show Changing Rooms, which aired from 1996 to 2004, before being revived in 2021.
Stacey’s, 35, show sees a team transform people’s houses by helping them declutter and creating new storage solutions.
Asked if he watches her show, Laurence bluntly replied: ‘No, that’s not design, is it? That’s someone folding people’s underpants’.
Taking brutal aim at Stacey’s hit show and DIY home hacks, Laurence blasted: ‘Why don’t you lock me in Stacey Solomon’s Pickle Cottage and I’ll show her what real interiors look like.

‘I could be the creature that drags Stacey Solomon away from folding knickers and painting everything grey!’
It comes after Laurence revealed ‘the most traumatic’ moment while he took part in Celebrity Bear Hunt – and it wasn’t the moment he DROWNED and almost died.
Speaking on This Morning with Ben Shepherd and Cat Deeley, Laurence confessed: ‘I realised I was the only one there with my own stuff!’
A shocked Ben asked: ‘So you smuggled in contraband?’
‘Well I wore in contraband and no one said no,’ Laurence replied.
He continued: ‘Eventually they did, they did twig and I found myself having to wear high street.
‘That was the most traumatic thing. Oh my God. Wearing chain store clothes… it was really itchy!’
Laurence’s confession comes as a shock considering some of the harrowing stuff that happened on the show.

The furniture designer recently opened up about how Bear Grylls saved him from downing while filming for the show.
Speaking to MailOnline about the terrifying incident, Laurence revealed it was Bear himself who came to his rescue.
‘It turns out, I’m actually not built to be an Avenger,’ he quipped.
‘I really thought I could take this on. I was full of adrenaline and I was full of my own abilities which were actually sadly not quite up there.
‘I got stuck underneath the raft. But I was really stupid, I didn’t stop at that point. I then kept carrying on and then I started blacking out and I started getting these chest pains.
‘And the next thing I know I get Bear on top of me – which I know millions of people would give their arm for. But he felt like a damp bag of spanners!’
