An officer was hospitalized after a suspect opened fire in the Exposition Park neighborhood of L.A. on Saturday.
The shooting occurred around 3:47 p.m. near 39th Place and Western Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
It’s unclear what led up to the incident, but police said the officer was shot by the suspect.
The officer, who was not identified, was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
