Landon Barker reportedly had no idea that he and his family had showed up at a Diddy-themed birthday party in Los Angeles earlier this week.
Kourtney Kardashian, 45, who is the young rocker’s stepmother, said she was ‘mortified’ by his alleged behavior, but a source says her stepson was as in the dark as she was about the tasteless joke.
According to an insider who spoke with People, Landon celebrated his 21st birthday with a dinner at Nobu in Malibu, thrown by Kardashian, and his dad, Travis Barker, 48.
After the family dinner, Landon and some of his friends were spotted at Harriet’s Rooftop Lounge in West Hollywood, which is where servers distributed bottles of baby oil with flashing lights, referencing the 1,000 bottles of baby oil allegedly found in Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs’ home during his arrest on sex trafficking charges.
It appears someone on social media saw him there and claimed the party was for Friends with Your Ex artist.

‘Landon Barker’s 21st bday party,’ the person wrote over the post adding, ‘bottles of baby oil, obviously a joke about the Diddy situation. I think it’s insensitive and gross.’
Video shared from the event featured a DJ saying, ‘We’re getting really freaky tonight. We’re getting Diddy freaky tonight.’
The shoutout was an apparently reference to alleged ‘freak offs,’ or coerced sex performances that reportedly took place at parties hosted Sean ‘Diddy Combs.’
‘The content that has surfaced from Wednesday night at Harriet’s Rooftop Lounge is from another individual’s birthday,’ the source told the outlet.
‘Earlier, Landon had a small dinner at Nobu that was hosted by his father and stepmother, who then returned home. Landon and his friends then attended Harriet’s.’
The source continued, claiming neither Landon ‘nor [Harriet’s] ownership, had any knowledge of the theme of the party.’
‘Nor was [Landon] aware that the servers would be presenting bottles of baby oil that night for someone else,’ the insider stated. ‘He did not participate in the baby oil service and refused to engage.’
Landon has not made any public statements about the allegations.
Instead, he is focused on his next show, taking place at the Bourbon Room in West Hollywood on October 18.
‘My last concert with @xposureworld in 7 days,’ he shared on a black-and-white photo from a previous show in his Instagram Stories late on Friday.
Another snap indicates the young singer and musician is continuing to celebrate his 21st birthday in Las Vegas.
Combs, 54, is currently in federal custody amid serious federal sex trafficking charges and various civil lawsuits.

He has pleaded ‘not guilty’ to racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges.
His alleged victims say he coerced and abused women for years with help from a network of associates and employees while silencing them through blackmail and violence, including kidnapping, arson and physical beatings.
Trial on those charges is expected to begin May 5, 2025.
He could be sentenced to spending the rest of his life in prison if convicted.
