Police are searching for a Lamborghini driver who fled the scene following a collision involving a Toyota SUV in Hancock Park early Monday morning.
The crash was reported shortly before 1:30 a.m. near 1st Street and Highland Avenue.
Video from the scene showed the badly damaged Toyota had spun around before coming to a stop with its front end on top of a large boulder.
Los Angeles firefighters worked to extricate at least two people from inside the Toyota. Another person was able to get free from the wreckage on their own. The conditions of the patients were unknown.
A Los Angeles police officer at the scene told KTLA that the Lamborghini driver had fled the scene, prompting a hit-and-run investigation.
There was no immediate word on the cause of the crash.
