Grant Regal and Jack Hooper intercepted passes and Wyatt Bogdan blocked a punt to help Laguna Beach’s football team improve to 5-0 with a 40-0 victory against visiting El Dorado on Friday.
The Breakers also received a punt return for a score by Regal and nine tackles from Charlie Hunt.
It was the third consecutive shutout for the Breakers. It’s the first time they’ve done that since 1950.
The streak includes wins against Kennedy (51-0) and Gig Harbor of Washington (41-0).
Last season, El Dorado defeated Laguna Beach 21-7 en route to a runner-up finish in Division 7.
Laguna Beach held El Dorado (2-3) to 100 yards offense.
Quarterback Jackson Kollock, a senior who is committed to Minnesota, paced Laguna Beach’s offense by passing for 153 yards and two scores and also rushing for two touchdowns.
Hunt also caught a touchdown.
Laguna Beach takes a bye next week before opening the Foxtrot League against Northwood.

Northwood 20, Portola 9: Senior Cole Hidalgo caught a touchdown, returned an interception for a score and kicked two field goals to lead the visiting Timberwolves (5-0).
Brea Olinda 42, Fullerton 7: Nathan Aceves rushed for three touchdowns in the first half as the visiting Wildcats improved to 5-0 to match their best start since 2011.
Cullen Doyle added two TD passes for Brea Olinda, which takes a bye next week before opening the Kappa League against Westminster.
San Clemente 35, Chino Hills 28: Dawson Martinez completed 11 of 15 passes for 223 yards and a touchdown and Cole Herlean and Max Kotiranta each had over 100 yards receiving to lead the host Tritons (3-2).
Herlean recorded five catches for 119 yards while Kotiranta added four for 104 yards.
El Modena 48, Mission College Prep 21: Xzavior Guess completed 18 of 24 passes for 209 yards and four TDs and also rushed for 149 yards and three scores as the Vanguards won in San Luis Obispo to improve to 5-0.
Connor Smith added five catches for 58 yards and two scores for the Vanguards, who take a bye next week before opening the Delta League against Trabuco Hills.

Laguna Hills 35, Canyon 28: Khryztopher Entrala ran for 278 yards with four touchdowns for Laguna Hills in a win over Canyon.
Laguna Hills (3-2) tallied 488 yards of total offense. Ben Trocchio threw a touchdown pass to Mason Fromm for the Hawks.
Alexander Lundsberg threw for 324 yards with four touchdown passes for Canyon (2-3), two to Kellen Rommelfanger.
Aliso Niguel 35, Dominguez 15: Jarett Sabol ran for 150 yards with three touchdowns for the Wolverines in a win over Dominguez of Compton.
Max Blasing returned an interception 100 yards for a touchdown. The return is the longest interception return in school-history. Logan Wagner had four tackles, a sack and an interception for Aliso Niguel (4-1).
Carter Vestermark completed seven of eight passes for 105 yards with a touchdown.
Sonora 52, California 13: Anthony Abad had 168 yards rushing with two touchdowns in Sonora’s rout of California High of Whittier.
Tucker Hunnicitt and Isaiah Damian Rosales each threw touchdown passes for Sonora (2-2). Renner Willard led the defense with 14 tackles and Mike Lozano added 13.
Brady Ackerman and Luke Crowder had interceptions for the Raiders.
University 24, Garden Grove 21, OT: Jake Rabold made a 31-yard field goal in overtime to beat Garden Grove.
Damari Carter had two rushing touchdowns for University (2-2) and Dylan Elmer threw a touchdown pass to Carl Oldham. Justin Tribble had an interception in overtime for the Trojans.
Quentin Pacelli had two rushing touchdowns for Garden Grove (1-4).
Newport Harbor 28, St. Augustine 7: Jake Meer threw two touchdown passes for Newport Harbor in its first win of the season.
Sammy Stremick and Beckham Dutcher had touchdown receptions for Newport Harbor (1-4). Jackson Stremick had a touchdown run for the Sailors.
Pacifica 52, Walnut 0: Pacifica quarterback Noah Lewis had five touchdowns in his first game back from injury for the Mariners.
The senior had three rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns. Ethan McLaughlin had a receiving touchdown for Pacifica (2-3).
Rancho Alamitos 37, Godinez 3: Cruz Gonzalez ran for over 200 yards with two touchdowns for undefeated Rancho Alamitos (4-0).
Vincent Gentile threw three touchdown passes for the Vaqueros. Johnny Zodiacal had an interception for Rancho Alamitos. Matteo Picou had an interception for Godinez (2-3) and Ethan Barrera made a 20-yard field goal.
La Quinta 32, Glenn 12: Cooper Starnes had three rushing touchdowns for La Quinta in a win over Glenn.
Jakson Clark had a rushing touchdown and threw a touchdown pass to Jeremiah Latu for La Quinta (4-0).
