LOS ANGELES (KTLA) – Knott’s Berry Farm will be closed on Thursday as a potent storm system brings rain to Southern California.
Tickets purchased for Thursday will be valid until Dec. 31, the theme park announced on social media. Select California Marketplace locations will remain open until 5 p.m.
The theme park closed early on Wednesday due to “inclement weather.”
A small system moved into the region on Wednesday, with skies turning cloudy early and showers arriving in Los Angeles County in the evening.
“The main thrust of the storm, though, will begin Thursday morning along the Central Coast and mid-afternoon to early evening across Ventura and LA counties,” according to the National Weather Service.
According to the weather agency, heavy rain can be expected Thursday morning in Orange County, with a slight chance of thunderstorms Thursday evening.
