Kelsea Ballerini brought some throwback vibes to the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards.
The singer, 31, switched things up in a floor-sweeping, plaid patchwork gown worn with a leather jacked draped over her shoulders to the annual fashion event held at the Museum of Natural History on Monday, Oct. 28 in New York City.
She teamed the look with some ’90s glam including a sleep bun with face-framing wisps, icy eye makeup and a glossy lip.
Ballerini has made her fashion mark on many red carpets over the past year.
On Sept. 26, she wore a striking yellow, black and white “sunflower” patterned dress at the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards with her boyfriend Chase Stokes, 32, on her arm.
The “Cowboys Cry Too” singer’s gown was designed to “look like a sunflower.” She paired the floor-length dress with dangling earrings and slicked-back hair. Her gold nails added to the dazzling effect.
She smiled on the carpet with Stokes, who wore a brown suit and croc-embossed boots.
The singer referenced her relationship with Stokes and her new album PATTERNS during the People’s Choice Country Awards red carpet pre-show.
“I’m 31 now, I’m in a beautiful relationship, and when you’re in a good relationship, it really mirrors you, so you have to really assess yourself and then the other person, vice versa,” Ballerini said. “I think there’s a lot of that kind of intricacy within the record.”
Earlier this year, Ballerini struck gold on another red carpet in a turtle neck gown at the 2024 ACM Awards on May 16. The gold dress, which had a train draping on the carpet, was styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Heann.
She completed the look with gold heels and a low bun with a front strand pulled out. Her sparkly eye makeup and nude lip complemented the shimmering dress.
That same month, Ballerini made waves at the Met Gala with Stokes. The singer wore a couture Michael Kors collection dress covered in orange, pink and yellow floral appliqués. In between the florals were strategically placed sheer sections.
Ballerini also had floral appliqués in her bun and wore custom floral jewelry by Simon G. Jewelry.
The Outer Banks actor wore a black Michael Kors Collection sequined suit without a shirt underneath. He wore layered necklaces and slicked his hair into a “wet” look.
Ballerini recently confirmed to PEOPLE that she and Stokes moved in together.
“We’re unpacked, baby,” Ballerini told PEOPLE.
