Katy Perry wowed the crowd at the MCG in Melbourne on Saturday during her AFL Grand Final show.
But the pop star, 39, went viral as she performed for a very unexpected reason.
As Katy sang her hit song Teenage Dream, some of her dancers were dressed in silver balloon costumes.
But one of the costumes was not inflated, and stood out among the many puffy silver balloons in the troupe.
Many viewers took to social media to make light of the deflated dancer.
In a video of the moment shared to TikTok, user yasminjnelson wrote in the caption ‘the deflated balloon is the new left shark for Katy Perry.’
The TikTokker was referring to the viral moment from Katy Perry’s 2015 Superbowl performance, when a dancer in a shark costume seemed to dance awkwardly next to the singer.
While the dancer in the shark costume on the right was in time, the dancer on the left was off-beat and not in unison with their counterpart.

Many commenters on TikTok also referenced the 2015 moment.
‘Did someone say left shark?’ said one, while another pointed out that both viral moments happened in a performance of Teenage Dream: ‘THE SAME SONG.’
‘Why does it always happen during Teenage Dream,’ another commenter expressed.
Perry’s 20-minute AFL Grand Final set included two tracks from her latest album 143, Lifetimes and Gorgeous, her collaboration with Kim Petras, after reports she had been restricted to just one new song by AFL bosses.

Despite slipping the new songs in, it was the hits that got the crowd pumping with Katy kicking of with a rendition of Roar before ripping into her hits Teenage Dreams, Dark Horse and Firework.
Katy also belted out a rendition of I Kissed A Girl with Tina Arena before the pair moved into a rendition of the Aussie pop star’s hit Chains.
But she caused surprise with her setlist by not singing Hot n Cold, despite it famously being the theme tune to MasterChef Australia and jokingly regarded by many as Aussie’s true ‘national anthem’.
