The pair exuded a formal sense of chic on Wednesday – a far cry from the ensemble that led them to be mocked on the Internet in December 2022.
That month, Katie attended the iHeart Radio Jingle Ball in a sleeveless navy tunic pulled over a pair of jeans and teamed with sneakers.
Inspired by the Y2K aesthetic of the turn of the millennium, the quirky outfit – which Brie worked on – provoked widespread derision on social media.
Fans ribbed Katie for channeling a ‘mid2000s Disney red carpet,’ sneering that she ‘looked a mess’ and quipping that they were ‘disturbed’ by her appearance.

She and Katie ‘decided the rich color and subtle bustier effect detailing of the top was elegant and would be fun if paired with jeans, creating a more youthful feel for Jingle Ball and the atmosphere there,’ Brie explained.
