Hudson opted for minimal accessories to allow the outfit to be the main focal point, and added a pair of small silver earrings.
Her makeup was glammed up and comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes as well as a light shadow around her eyes.
A pink blush was added to her cheekbones for a radiant glow while rosy pink tint was worn on her lips for a finishing touch.
The actress flashed a cheerful smile as she paused for a brief photo session during the special celebration.
Her eye-catching look for the evening was similar to the iconic dress she wore in the 2003 movie How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days.
Hudson had also donned a sleeveless, yellow satin gown that flowed down past her ankles in a scene from the film.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight back in 2023, the star revealed that she didn’t know where the dress is.
‘I’m sure it’s somewhere,’ the Golden Globe winner told the outlet. ‘Paramount probably has it somewhere.’

During a past conversation with Variety, both Hudson and McConaughey reflected on the rom-com and working together.
‘What tickles me doesn’t bruise you. What tickles you doesn’t bruise me. We were never afraid to push it to what might be considered too far,’ the Interstellar actor said.
The actress added, ‘When you went one direction, I went with you. But then I would be like, “I’m gonna throw him off a little bit. Let’s see what happens if I do a sharp right.”‘
Hudson also recently shared her thoughts on a potential to sequel to How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days.
‘The thing is, it would just have to be totally right,’ the Almost Famous actress told E! News earlier this year in February.
When asked where she thought her character of journalist Andie would be in present day, Hudson explained, ‘Too wild by nature. Definitely she still has great outfits, number one. She still loves dresses and Isadora diamonds.’
And during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen last year, the star said both she and McConaughey are ‘open’ to a sequel, per Deadline.
‘I think they’re always thinking about that,’ the award-winning star expressed.
‘All that matters would be the script and if Matthew and I were into the script. We’re both totally open. It has just never happened.’
