Kate Beckinsale Rocks No-Pants Look in Sparkly Bodysuit at amfAR Gala

Kate Beckinsale lit up the Venice Film Festival with her signature sparkle. 

The Jolt star, 51, was among the stars celebrating the Sept. 1 amfAR Gala during the festival — and she wasn’t one to be missed in her glittery ensemble. 

Beckinsale wore a bedazzled baby pink bodysuit with feather-like embellishments and sequin floral motifs covering the entire design. She accessorized the one-piece with a light-catching corset that accentuated her floor-length train. 

Because more is always more for the actress, she completed the look with glittery (and let us add, very Y2K-coded) platform heels, a round pearl-studded purse, drop earrings and an arm cuff. 

To complement her clothing, Beckinsale also wore a glossy nude pink lip, rosy blush and gold eyeshadow.

Although she was seen at the high-profile event without her trademark bow, she did touch down in Italy on Aug. 31 wearing a giant one in her hair as part of her airport outfit, which also included jeans, a sheer blouse and inches-high combat boots. 

Beckinsale has hit quite a few red carpets following her health crisis that led to her extended stay in the hospital earlier this year. On May 2, she made a grand return to the spotlight at the King’s Trust Gala in New York City, to which she wore a sheer white organza gown that showed a hint of leg, thanks to the thigh-high slit.

This summer has also been a sartorial whirlwind for the Underworld star.

On July. 21, she attended The Fab Thirties charity event in Forte dei Marmi wearing a dramatic black-and-white gown with a gaping center cutout and diamond-shaped skirt, plus a lace veil that was designed by her former classmate. After that, she stepped out for Gala One’s Summer Gala fête in a sexy hourglass gown with a gold bow wrapped around her waist. 

The events were a glamorous lead-up to Beckinsale’s 51st birthday bash in July at the Mistress of Mayfair in London. Keeping the no-pants trend alive and well, she wore nothing but a belted sequin bodysuit by Rahul Mishra and polka-dot tights. 

Sharing snapshots of her party to Instagram, she wrote, “Thank you so much @mistressofmayfair hosting the loveliest birthday party with all people that I love and my fabulous mother — so much love in the room.”
