Kamala Harris is heading to the Ed Sullivan Theater next week.
The Vice President will appear on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday October 8. It marks Harris’ first late-night appearance since becoming the Democratic Party’s nominee for President.
Her last late-night appearance was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in June.
It comes as Harris’ running mate Gov. Tim Walz is also heading to Jimmy Kimmel Live! next week in his late-night debut. Walz will appear on the ABC show on Monday.
Harris has been a regular in The Late Show chair, having appeared on the show six times before, starting in April 2018 and most recently in March last year.
The VP has been doing a number of interesting interviews of late; she appeared on the All The Smoke podcast alongside former NBA stars Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes and recently sat for an interview with Call Her Daddy’s Alex Cooper, Spotify’s second most popular podcast last year and one that is particularly listened to by young women. It is expected to stream next week.
The Late Show is produced by CBS Studios in association with Spartina Industries and is exec produced by Colbert, Tom Purcell and Jon Stewart.
