Vice President and Democratic nominee for the White House Kamala Harris is a self-confessed fan MSNBC’s flagship morning talk show.
Harris’ morning media diet came up during a conversation with SiriusXM radio host Howard Stern on Tuesday, after her questioned her about what she watches or reads while she’s working out on the elliptical.
Stern referenced “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough’s weekday show, saying “I love that guy.”
“I do, too,” Harris chimed in, noting she and Scarborough “don’t always agree on everything,” but acknowledged she watches the former Republican’s talk show regularly.
Morning Joe is also a favorite program of President Biden, who made a surprise appearance on the show over the summer as he fought off calls to step out of the 2024 race.
Scarborough suggested Biden should consider ending his campaign immediately after his disastrous debate in June, while co-host Mika Brzezinski insisted the president should stay in the race.
Biden eventually cleared the way for Harris, who this week is waging a media blitz just weeks out from election day, appearing on various national talk shows, podcasts and interviews.
Former President Trump is frequently critical of Scarborough, who this week accused the Republican nominee of inciting violence at his political rallies and preparing for “civil war” after the November election.
