Three juveniles with prior arrests, including stolen auto, were arrested in an armed carjacking on Tuesday afternoon.
Police say on Oct. 22 around 5:07 p.m., officers went to the 5900 block of Holabird Avenue for a report of an armed carjacking.
Once there, officers spoke with the 39-year-old female victim, who stated that while loading her vehicle, she was approached by an unidentified masked male suspect who announced a robbery while implying he had a gun.
The suspect then drove away in the victim’s vehicle, according to officials.
Police say Foxtrot was able to immediately locate the vehicle, tracking it from the air to I-95 North at exit 61, where the suspects began driving erratically and ultimately crashed.
Following the crash, three suspects attempted to run but were stopped by officers on the ground.
Officers arrested a 15-year-old male, a 13-year-old male, and a 14-year-old male.
All suspects were transported to a hospital for treatment and then detained at the Juvenile Justice Center where they were processed. All three suspects have prior arrests, including stolen auto, officials say.
