A huge shift in the legal battle between the stars of “It Ends with Us.”

Justin Baldoni’s countersuit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds has been tossed out by a judge.

The $400 million suit accused the couple and their publicist of extortion and defamation. The actor’s $250 million libel and defamation suit against The New York Times was tossed out as well.

However, the judge is allowing him to refile on allegations of interference with contracts.

Late last year, Lively sued Baldoni and several others tied to the film, alleging sexual harassment and that they retaliated against her for coming forward about her treatment on the set.

BET Awards to go on as planned in DTLA: report

“Today’s opinion is a total victory and a complete vindication for Blake Lively, along with those that Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer Parties dragged into their retaliatory lawsuit, including Ryan Reynolds, Leslie Sloane and The New York Times,” Lively’s lawyers said in a statement obtained by Variety. “As we have said from day one, this ‘$400 million’ lawsuit was a sham, and the Court saw right through it. We look forward to the next round, which is seeking attorneys’ fees, treble damages and punitive damages against Baldoni, Sarowitz, Nathan, and the other Wayfarer Parties who perpetrated this abusive litigation.”

Lively’s trial against Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios is set for March 2026.
