It’s been 14 months since Jodie Turner-Smith filed for divorce from estranged husband Joshua Jackson, and he still hasn’t paid her a dime in child/spousal support for their four-year-old daughter Juno Rose Diana Jackson.
The British-born, American-educated 38-year-old and her $900/hour attorney – ‘Disso Queen’ Laura Wasser – filed new legal documents on Monday asking the judge to order the Canadian 46-year-old to start cutting her monthly checks.
Jodie said Joshua is ‘reneging on the promise’ that she ‘would not have to worry about financial security for our daughter if we ever separated’ because ‘he understood how difficult life can be as a Black woman and a single mother’ – according to TMZ.
Turner-Smith wants Jackson to pay her $8,543 per month in child support, $28,641 per month in spousal support, as well as $250K in attorney fees and forensic accounting costs.
The Bad Monkey baddie – who owns homes in LA, London, and Jamaica – claimed the Doctor Odyssey producer-star earns more than her, and she scoffed to THR on December 2: ‘My life is not dictated by men.’
‘[Joshua] can do whatever he wants. Just be good to Juno and be good to Juno’s mum, because I’m going to be Juno’s mum forever,’ Jodie told Glamour UK in October.

‘It’s an adjustment period for anyone when they split up with someone, because you’re used to being with your child all the time.
‘Each parent has a different life, and especially if the reason why you’re splitting up is because you have different lives, it’s only further complicated by how you’re going to co-parent.’
And while Turner-Smith is ‘over men,’ Jackson canoodled with model Nastassja Roberts in September after dating Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o for numerous months.
The SAG Award nominee called The Acolyte star his ‘soon-to-be ex-wife’ in an interview with Deadline on December 13, and revealed he took on the role of Victor in next year’s Karate Kid: Legends because of Juno.
‘My daughter could see [it potentially] before she graduates from high school,’ Joshua explained.
‘If she is ever, in the future, interested in what dad does for a living, it would be nice to be able to point her to something.’
On Monday, Jodie proudly posted that Paramount+ with Showtime announced the second season renewal of Jez Butterworth & John-Henry Butterworth’s The Agency.
Turner-Smith portrays Sudanese anthropologist Dr. Samia ‘Sami’ Zahir in the 10-episode first season of the Michael Fassbender-led spy thriller, which currently airs Fridays.
The Agency – also starring Richard Gere and Jeffrey Wright – is based on the French series Le Bureau, which aired for five seasons spanning 2015-2020 on Canal+.
