Jessica Alba has got a brand new tattoo following her split from husband Cash Warren.
The Into The Blue singer, 43, debuted a meaningful inking on her arm, done by tattoo artist Winter Stone, on Wednesday.
Done in delicate cursive, the lengthy ink stretched across her forearm and appeared to read, ‘Life is transformation is life.’
Jessica posted snaps from the engraving to her Instagram, which included a shot of her in the process of getting inked followed by the final result.
She sat still for Winter as he etched the phrase into her skin, though still managed to grab a snap of himself mid-inking.
The photo was one of several Jessica shared from her ‘current chapter’, which is what she captioned the post.

She followed it up with a group photo with the three children she shares with Cash, daughters Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and son Hayes, seven.
Newly single Jessica appears to be in her self-care era, with photos capturing her exercising, grabbing a drink with a friend, and enjoying frozen yogurt.
She also included the Divi Maggo poem Wilted Flowers in her post, along with a photo of a coyote she saw on the road and a description of the animal’s spiritual significance.
Meanwhile, Jessica was also seen out in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, though her new tattoo was covered up.
She looked glam arriving to her hotel in a black tank top, jeans, gold choker necklace, and long-sleeve grey sweater concealing her ink.
The actress confirmed last month she had split from her husband of fifteen years, and a source shared with TMZ at the time the exes are ‘extremely amicable.’
Jessica and Cash, 46, have both requested joint physical and legal custody of their children.
The married couple of 16 years did not sign a prenuptial agreement, so Cash hired attorney Adam Lipsic and the Honest Renovations producer-host hired ‘Disso Queen’ Laura Wasser to help divide their substantial assets.
‘I’ve been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years — both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,’ the Trigger Warning producer wrote on January 16.
