Jenna Bush Hager posed with her eldest mini-me daughter, Mila, in sweet family snaps taken as she celebrated her 43rd birthday on Monday.
The TV personality – who will launch a new show titled called Today with Jenna & Friends following Hoda Kotb‘s departure – shared two selfies to her main Instagram page during the special day.
In one image, Jenna flashed a cheerful smile as the 11-year-old stood next to her while holding a tray of tasty, sugary cupcakes.
The star shares Mila, as well as Poppy, nine, and Hal, five, with husband Henry Chase Hager – whom she tied the knot with in 2008.
The author’s other children also joined in on the festivities as they helped celebrate Jenna’s birthday.
The group gathered together inside what appeared to be a kitchen and in another picture, Jenna could be seen blowing out a candle that was placed on top of one of the cupcakes.

In the caption of the post, the NBC host penned to her followers, ‘Feeling so grateful for all the love…really soaking it in.’
‘As someone wrote to me today, hoping I slow it all down a little so I can appreciate every single second. Thanks for it all.’
After officially turning one year older on Monday, the mother-of-three revealed the gift that her kids gave her during Today with Hoda & Jenna.
While talking to Kotb during Tuesday’s episode, the media personality explained that she received a variety of birthday coupons.
‘They made me a poster where they wrote that they were each giving me coupons,’ the journalist expressed.
‘Hal’s was, he would go to bed early. Poppy’s said “foot massage” – but then she actually changed her mind because she thought it would be gross to give me a foot massage, and she said a “hand massage.”‘
Jenna added that Mila’s birthday coupon included a total of ‘Four free babysitting moments.’
While further reflecting on the big night, Jenna told Hoda that her family made her ‘go away’ so they could surprise her.

In regards to the adorable family photos, Kotb said, ‘There’s something about that picture that you showed, which is, just what your life really is at the end of the day – it’s the five of you, the cupcakes, someone is having a meltdown.’
Jenna humorously replied with, ‘Hal was having a little bit of a meltdown.’
In the second snap, her son could be seen sitting on his mother’s lap with his head turned away from the camera.
However, she described her 43rd birthday as ‘so much fun’ and gushed, ‘I really did feel so grateful for all the people in my life.’
‘I feel like birthdays are a fun time just to take stock and be like, “Wow, look at how lucky I am.” I felt that way.’
And on Monday’s episode, Bush Hager – who is the daughter of George W. Bush and Laura Bush – had the chance to further ring in her 43rd birthday with co-host Hoda Kotb.
The star was gifted both bubbly champagne and flowers – with Jenna revealing to Kotb that she is ‘pre-menopausal.’
She then shared the gift that she received from her husband, Henry, and stated, ‘We put up our Christmas tree last night, and [my husband] Henry [Hager] did something very sweet for me.’

‘He planned a dinner party that was murder mystery themed. I’ve always wanted to do that where you solved a mystery.’
When asked by Kotb who won the game, Jenna replied, ‘I don’t know! I can’t remember because it’s not really a winning or losing thing. It’s more about who is murdered.’
‘He knew I always wanted to do it, it was very fun. So anyway, we celebrated, and now is today, Monday, and I’m chill.’
On Monday, Jenna’s twin sister, Barbara Pierce Bush, also had the chance to ring in her 43rd birthday.
With Thanksgiving just around the corner, Jenna opened up about plans for the special holiday this week.
‘On Wednesday before Thanksgiving, we’ll do a joint party for the kids. Don’t you think that birthdays are kind for the kids? They’ll celebrate. Mila wants to make a cake.’
Jenna has previously opened up about raising her kids with Henry – and last year in August, the topic was brought up on Today with Hoda & Jenna, per Decider.
The TV host expressed, ‘I spend almost all my time in parenting trying to raise kind kids. I don’t really care about any of the other stuff.’
She then shared the gift that she received from her husband, Henry, and stated, ‘We put up our Christmas tree last night, and [my husband] Henry [Hager] did something very sweet for me’
Craig Melvin will replace Kotb, and Bush Hager will host her own fourth hour show titled Today with Jenna & Friends – which will have ‘a rotating cast of fill-in co-hosts until a permanent host is named’; Kotb and Jenna seen in February in NYC
‘I don’t care that they’re number one in their class or go to good schools. I just want them to be the type of kids that are kind.’
Aside from her recent birthday celebrations, Jenna has been keeping busy as she hosts segments for Today.
A few months earlier, it was confirmed Hoda Kotb will be departing Today beginning January 10, 2025 – and she later revealed the main reason for her exit was due to her two children.
