Here’s Johnny!
Jack Nicholson spent the holiday season with his nearest and dearest.
The three-time Academy Award winner, 87, appeared in a rare social media photo with his daughter, Lorraine Nicholson, who shared a series of snaps from the festive period at home.
In the image, which was shared on Instagram Thursday, the Hollywood icon can be seen smiling alongside Lorraine, 34, as the pair wrapped their arms around each other.
The pic, taken in the study of their home adorned with books and trophies, the father-daughter duo looked at the camera as Lorraine captioned the post, “The giving season 🎁.”
Lorraine was also captured alongside her brother, Raymond Nicholson — both of whom the actor shares with his ex-girlfriend Rebecca Broussard.
The former couple welcomed Lorraine in April 1990, before welcoming Ray in Feb. 1992.
In another snap, Lorraine can be seen smiling alongside her brother as well as Duke Nicholson — the actor’s grandson. Duke’s girlfriend, influencer Devon Lee Carlson, also appears in the pic.
It appears as though Jack’s kids have each followed in his footsteps career-wise, as Lorraine, Raymond and Duke have launched successful silver-screen careers of their own.
Lorraine is best known for playing Alana Blanchard in the 2011 biographical film “Soul Surfer,” while Raymond is best known for starring in the 2024 film “Smile 2,” 2006’s “The Benchwarmers” and the 2021 film “Licorice Pizza.”
While Lorraine tends to keep her famous father out of the spotlight, she previously reflected on her unusual childhood in an interview with Vanity Fair.
In the Feb. 2024 interview, the actress said she often visited the late Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion as a child.
“I knew the Mansion was not intended for children, but I asked no questions,” she told the outlet.
“I never went to summer camp. I never had an after-school activity. From the year I was born, 1990, until I was about 11, I went to the Playboy Mansion, because that’s where my friends were.”
In addition to Lorraine and Ray, Jack is also a father to daughter Jennifer Nicholson, whom he welcomed in 1963 with his ex-wife, Sandra Knight.
He then welcomed son Caleb Goddard with his “Five Easy Pieces” co-star Susan Anspach in 1970.
After Caleb’s arrival, Jack and his ex-girlfriend, model Winnie Hollman, welcomed daughter Honey Hollman in 1981.
He later welcomed daughter Tessa Gourin in 1994 with actress Jennine Gourin.
The “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” actor has rarely been seen out and about in recent years.
In Jan. 2023, the actor’s friends shared concerns about his solitary lifestyle, saying they’re worried about the end game.
At the time, the Oscar winner hasn’t been seen in public in three years, with his pals claiming at the time that he’s been “living like a recluse.”
Multiple sources told RadarOnline in Jan. 2023 that the actor “doesn’t leave his house anymore” and that his “mind is gone,” listing concerns of possible dementia.
He was last seen attending a basketball game at the Crypto.com Arena in May 2023. That same year, he was spotted out and about in his California neighborhood.
Nicholson spends most — if not all — of his time in his plush Beverly Mansion, according to the report. He purchased the lavish property from his friend, the late Marlon Brando, for $5 million back in 2005. The 3,303-square-foot pad boasts four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a pool.
At the time, sources close to Jack expressed concerns over his reclusive nature, saying he’s becoming more and more like Brando.
As for his professional life, the actor’s last project was the 2011 rom-com “How Do You Know” in which he starred alongside Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, and Owen Wilson.
