Ian Ziering was spotted filming a scene for an upcoming project in Beverly Hills on Thursday, going back to work the day after Christmas.

The 60-year-old actor shot to fame on Beverly Hills, 90210 in the 1990s and more recently has been one of the stars of the Sharknado franchise.

He looked as dashing as ever when he was spotted on the set this week, wearing a casual ensemble suited to the California winter.

Zipping a grey hoodie over a white t-shirt and modeling a pair of fashionably faded jeans, Ian had grown a beard over his matinee idol features.

His latest sighting comes nearly a year after he was involved in a confrontation with an alleged ‘gang’ of mini-bikers on Hollywood Boulevard on New Year’s Eve 2023.

Two people were finally arrested in connection with the incident in May, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed.

Ziering and his daughter Mia, 12, were confronted by a gang of mini-bikers on Hollywood Boulevard last New Year’s Eve – which led the actor to exit his car, at which point the confrontation escalated.

An incident statement from LAPD investigators said that the altercation took place at around 3 pm on New Year’s Eve while Ziering and his daughter were sitting in traffic in the 6800 block of Hollywood Boulevard.

‘The confrontation began between the victim and one of the minibike riders over possible damage to his vehicle,’ the statement said.

‘Three to four additional minibike riders jumped in and assaulted the motorist.’

After the arrest was made, it was reported would be sent to the District Attorney’s office, and a decision would be made on whether to file charges.

Ziering shared a moving update with his fans on Instagram the day following the jarring attack.

‘Yesterday, I experienced an alarming incident involving a group of individuals on mini bikes,’ Ziering wrote on Instagram on January 1.

‘While stuck in traffic, my car was approached aggressively by one of these riders leading to an unsettling confrontation.’

‘In an attempt to assess any damage I exited my car. This action, unfortunately, escalated into a physical altercation, which I navigated to protect myself.’

Ziering confirmed that he and his daughter were left ‘unscathed’ – but said that he was concerned about the ‘growing boldness’ of such groups.

He went on to say the brawl highlighted a larger issue of ‘hooliganism’ on the streets and the ‘need for effective law enforcement responses to such behavior.’

‘I have always been an advocate for standing up against intimidation and misconduct, and this incident reinforces my belief in the importance of personal and community safety,’ Ziering continued in the Instagram caption.
