A photographer has revealed never-before-seen pictures of Jeffrey Epstein, years after he claims the deceased financier threatened him into silence.
Christopher Anderson shared the rare images on social media Tuesday, which were taken for a 2015 article in New York magazine, including one of a shocking letter to Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson demanding a payment of nearly $60,000.
However, the profile on Epstein and all the photos were never published after the convicted child sex offender pulled out of the interview.
Now, Anderson has shared that Epstein, who paid $20,000 for the rights to the photographs in the story, allegedly sent a bodyguard to threaten him into handing over all his materials.
A decade later, however, Anderson said on Instagram that he found an old backup hard drive which had copies of his work, which Epstein had worked to conceal.
The photos showed the disgraced financier in two of his luxurious homes, capturing his style and surroundings.
However, two of the images shared this week exposed a letter to Prince Andrew’s private secretary at the time, Amanda Thirsk, demanding the royals pay him $59,933 so he could afford an MBA course at Columbia University.
Moreover, Epstein claimed that more than $72,000 was ‘owed by the Duchess’ before he, Andrew, and Ferguson agreed to lower the amount.

The collection also revealed framed photos on Epstein’s desk showing some of his famous connections, including former President Bill Clinton, billionaire Richard Branson, and film director Woody Allen.
In an Instagram post that’s been liked over 130,000 times, Anderson recalled that he was hired by Jody Quon of New York magazine to take photos of Epstein for their upcoming article written by journalist Michael Wolff.
At that time, Epstein had already been convicted of sex crimes involving underage girls, having pleaded guilty in 2008 to procuring a minor for prostitution in Florida, which made him a registered sex offender.
Anderson was chosen for the assignment because of his unique style that includes wide environmental shots and close-up black-and-white portraits.
His work was recently used by Vanity Fair for a now controversial feature on the Trump Administration and the president’s inner circle.
Before the 2015 shoot, Epstein met Anderson and offered him $20,000 to buy the rights to the photos after they were published in the magazine, so that no one else could use or own them in the future.
Their deal was approved by New York magazine under the condition that the photos were used in the article first before Epstein technically owned their rights.
Epstein eventually pulled out of the profile piece after the photos were taken by Anderson, though the exact reason why he quit the interview wasn’t given, leading New York magazine to cancel the whole story.

Before the publication even decided to scrap the entire project, Anderson claimed that Epstein had demanded the photos be sent to him immediately, instead of waiting for a story to be published.
When Anderson refused to hand over the photos early, he alleged that Epstein sent a large bodyguard to his studio to threaten him into complying.
‘He sent his bodyguard/driver, Merwin, a massive guy in a long black overcoat and black, leather gloves, to my studio to intimidate me (it worked),’ the photographer wrote in his post.
‘The magazine killed the story, too. So I cashed the check and Merwin came by again to collect the hard drive and make sure I didn’t have any more copies of the photos.’
Anderson claimed he discovered the extra hard drive with the same photos Epstein had paid for on Tuesday and decided to share the hidden profile with the world.
Along with the new email seen in Anderson’s long lost photographs were a black-and-white close-up portrait of Epstein, shots of him working at lavish desks in two different offices inside his homes, and a large stuffed tiger on the floor near the desk.
