A 36-year-old man was scheduled to appear at a court hearing Wednesday after he was accused of stabbing two employees Monday at Provident of Cook County Hospital on the South Side, Chicago police said.
Nathaniel Price of Hyde Park was charged with two counts of aggravated battery/use of a deadly weapon after he was taken into custody Monday about 1:15 p.m. in the 500 block of East 51st Street, police said.
He was identified as the person who stabbed a 56-year-old and a second man, 32, less than minutes earlier at Provident of Cook County Hospital on 51st Street.
Responding officers quickly placed him into custody after the stabbings. Price was scheduled to appear at a detention hearing Wednesday.
