ACTIVIST Malala Yousafzai has said her mum gave Prince Harry a telling off for touching her daughter at a photocall.

The education campaigner, 28 — shot in the head by the Taliban — met him backstage at Wembley Arena after he made a speech at the We Day assembly in 2014.

She said mum Toor Pekai Yousafzai shouted her disapproval in Urdu at the red-faced royal.

Malala told the BBC’s Graham Norton Show: “My mum wanted me to stick to the Pakistani traditional culture.

“When I met Prince Harry we were taking a photo.

“And so he put his arm around my shoulder and my mum goes up and says, ‘Remove’.”

The Nobel Peace Prize-winner said her parents also went mad when she was pictured standing “close together” to footie star David Beckham.

But she said her mum had adapted to UK life, learning English and enjoying pilates.

She also said she was “at John Lewis more than at home”.

The Oxford Uni graduate details how she rebuilt her life in new memoir Finding My Way.
