A WOMAN was raped in an horrific attack on a night out – and an urgent search for a man is now underway.
The victim was attacked between 1am and 1.30am in Newcastle city centre on Saturday, April 27.

Northumbria Police said today: “Extensive enquiries have been carried out since the report was first made and today we have released an image of man we would like to speak to.
“He was in the area at the time the rape is reported to have taken place and believe he may be able to assist with our enquiries.”
Police added: “The victim continues to be supported by specially-trained officers.”
