A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found dead in Compton.
On March 17, Los Angeles County deputies responded to the 1000 block of West Spruce Street at around 11:40 p.m.
Arriving deputies found a man lying on the ground. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No suspect was located nearby.
The circumstances surrounding the man’s death remain unclear. Detectives are asking for the public’s help to provide information on the case.
No further details, including the victim’s identity or cause of death, were released.
